Iris Fall Meeting in Jarkarta in 2024

TRC team participated in Iris Jarkarta meeting in October 2024. The team took part in the Semiotics workshop which was lead by Dawn's team. Her team is one of the world's experts in Semiotics with strong knowledge and extensive practical experiences. It was a great opportunity for TRC team to learn about Semiotics to prepare for future application in any qualitative studies.

• Semiotics is the study of signs and symbols and their use or interpretation in communication. It explores how meaning is created and conveyed through various forms, including language, images, gestures, and even objects and behaviors.

The meeting was also another chance for the team to learn about new research methodology which is doing qualitative research in a virtual world. Meeting old friends and research experts from around the world to share knowledge and experience are always valuable.
